Emma,
"City centre location"
The city centre location
“I chose the Cosy&Study student residence in Le Havre mainly because of its location in the heart of Le Havre. We’re a 15-minute walk from the beach, a 10-minute walk from the city centre, there’s a bus stop just below the residence, and we’re less than 10 minutes from the tram, so it’s a really well-connected location. There’s also a whole range of shops nearby, so it’s really […] a lively area.
Of course, in a residence, there’s a friendly atmosphere. As a preparatory student, I didn’t have much of a student life, so my only student life was at Cosy&Study. I was able to forge strong links with people there, much stronger than my academic ties […].
It’s true that I was rather afraid of living on my own. To get into the flat, there are already two secure doors, plus our own door, so there are three doors. There are surveillance cameras […], so it’s pretty well secured.
I think it’s really a very positive point about the residence to offer very spacious rooms […] very bright, very cocooning, if I may say so.”
Corentin,
"Meeting people and forging links"
Meeting and creating links
“I chose the Cosy&Study residence for its location, because I found the fact that it’s next to lively areas and pedestrian streets […] particularly interesting. The fact that it’s next to the sea, about a 10-minute walk, I really liked being able to go to the beach easily and walk or run along the beach. That was something that was really important.
I really liked the social aspect, the fact that I could see and meet people, because I’m not from the region. I think it’s a good opportunity […] to get to know people, to meet new people, to forge links and make friendships that last over time.
I think the residence is pretty well equipped. There’s everything you need for cooking, a washing machine to do your clothes […]. The rooms are very well equipped, with all the furniture useful for a student […] to rest and work in peace.”

"A very well-equipped residence"
A very well-equipped residence
“What really caught my eye about this Cosy&Study residence was its proximity to the centre of Le Havre, the fact that it was close to student activities and, above all, the fact that it was a community. […] When you arrive alone in the city, it’s always nice not to be alone in the evening and to find a small group of friends […] to talk about your day instead of being alone.
We have a cleaner who comes often […] and the housekeeper Guilem is always there when we need him. I needed him for some lamps and he did it really quickly.
We’re really well equipped as far as ovens and microwaves are concerned – we have several and lots of hotplates. It’s great for cooking several dishes at the same time, and cooking with others.
As far as security is concerned, it’s true that I feel really safe: we have a badge with two access points, our own key, and surveillance cameras. […] The area is very quiet. I love the sea, so the fact that I’m not very far from the beach really appeals to me.
I want to keep this room until I finish my studies here.”
“Easy installation, all-inclusive, and a secure environment”
“We chose the Cosy&Study student residence for our daughter, who was going back to university for the first time in Le Havre, and we don’t regret it at all. Moving in was quick and easy, and everything was already furnished and ready to move in. The fact that everything is included (utilities, internet, etc.), that the residence is secure and well located, and the serene atmosphere really reassured us… We know she’s well looked after and in good conditions to succeed.”
— Mrs Lefèvre, Clara’s mother (first-year student)
